I’ m a web developer with more than 4 years of experience on building high performance, interactive web applications and user-friendly websites. I have experience in both Front and Back End development and I enjoy transforming a client’s idea into a personalized solution by considering their specific business’ needs while ensuring engaging and easy-to-use solutions for their customers.
Whether working solo or as part of a team, I always aim for writing clean, easy to understand code and stay up to date with the relevant tools and techniques while I’m constantly looking for opportunities to expand my horizons.
EDUCATION
I hold a 5-year diploma (equivalent to MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace with a specialization in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.
I aim for continuous learning and personal development. In particular, since my graduation I have attended several seminars such as SEO, Photoshop, Illustrator while most recently I’ve been attending a graphics design seminar in order to enhance my skills with which I can further improve user experience.
EXPERIENCE
As a Web Developer in Media42 for the past three and a half years I was responsible for the implementation of websites (both Front and Back End) starting either from a graphics designer’s idea or completely from scratch. I was also responsible for creating editor pages for clients, where they could import and change their content as well as create and maintain their databases.
Additionally to web design I have experience in editing and creating logos as well as in image and video processing. During the design process I was actively participating in discussions with clients in order to ensure proper alignment and offer solutions that meet their needs.
SOFT SKILLS
I have experience in collaborating with Back End developers to integrate Front End code and vice versa, as well as graphic designers in order to transform their designs into code. Additionally, over the years I have gained experience in communicating solutions to customers as well as incorporating their feedback.
I ensure completion of projects in time and have the ability to work under hard deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.

Thanks to my studies I learned to think like a programmer and I always enjoy opportunities for solving real-world problems, which led me to Back End development. I feel really comfortable Using PHP and I can push things forward for completing a project. I focus on writing clean, efficient and maintainable code.
WORDPRESS DEVELOPMENT
A WordPress developer needs a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript in order to accurately portray the desired design. Thanks to my expirience as a developer, I acquired the previous mention skills, thus I can build simple or complex WooCommerce websites on WordPress, using custom WordPress themes, plugins or forms from scratch, with a focus on performance, SEO and easy content management.
